Good News!
You can pray to God: read His Word: attend church and witness as to your new life in Jesus Christ. He is the center of a christian’s life. The Way, the Truth and the Life. Nobody comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ.
As most mornings I studied and prayed the SDA prayer guide. Today’s theme was unceasing prayer with unstopping supplication. Yes God knows what we need and what we want. Prayer is not to change God. He knows what is best for us and gives all good gifts. Rather prayer changes us. To humility and to God’s will and plan for us.
One finds God’s general plan for every individual in the Bible. The example of Christ. Calls to hope, faith and love Commandments. Also there are clear instances of the Holy Spirit giving direct guidance to individuals. This still happens today. That nearly silent voice that guides you to the right decisions and right places. Seek guidance in prayer. Fellowship with God opens communication. Both ways.
Get to know God. Read the Bible. What did God do? What did He say? Meet Him in prayer. Jesus is the real go-to-guy! You know Him, Jesus, and you know His Father.
There are many religions. Many roads. Many promises of salvation and afterlife. If you are looking for the Creator God who wants to be your Father, Jesus Christ is the Way to go.
